Dr. Amli’s Biography
Originally from Kettering, Ohio, Dr. Amli comes from a family of great Engineers and Civic Leaders.
He attended College at Morehead State University, Wright State University, Palomar College, Pasadena City College, Univ. California San Diego, Pasadena Chiropractic College, Cleveland Chiropractic College and the Colorado School of Healing Arts.
Besides being a Chiropractor, Dr. Amli has certificates in Emergency Medical procedures, Physiotherapy and Acupuncture. He has been on the preceptor faculty at Los Angeles Chiropractic College, worked as a certified Radiology Supervisor and has many years of experience in Sports Medicine.
His Civic duty has led him to be involved as a elected official as a Town Council member for Frisco, Colorado. When living in Summit County he was an active member of a Transit Board, Hospital Board, North West Colorado Association of Government, Local Emergency Preparedness Committee, Breckenridge Masonic Lodge #47. As a member of the Summit County Rotary he ran the Channel 9 Health Fair as the Medical Director for seven years. In the Denver area he is active with the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce and Volunteers on Saturday mornings with Equine Therapy at a horse ranch in Conifer, Colorado.
He has been honored as a Paul Harris Fellow, been director of Individual development for the San Diego Jr. Chamber of Commerce, and has worked with Raytheon Corporation and the National Science Foundation in Antarctica.
His work as a Doctor includes treating members of the NFL, IHL, Several Rugby Teams, Women’s Field Hockey, Criterium bike racers, Professional Water Skiers, Supercross Stadium racers, Professional Ice Skaters, Olympic athletes and members of the US Ski Team. Treating Horses and Dogs is his part-time job. As a Chiropractioner he has been trained through a Vetinary Orthopedic Manipulation Program and uses an Activator devise to adjust the spine and extremities of animals. He also uses Cold Laser technology, Arthro-stimulation and Acupunture as adjunctive tools. |
