DR. Amli is certified in treating horses and dogs as a Chiropractitioner that has formal training in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation, Veterinary Myofascial Release Technique, Cold Laser and Acupuncture.

Dr. Amli's instructor was Dr. William Inman a Veterinary Doctor whom graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Washington State University . His area of expertise was in companion animal surgery and clinical neurology. Since he began applying the VOM technique in 1984 he has performed more than 45,000 animal adjustments, all documented. He has personally trained over 4700 professionals in the United States.

VOM: Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation is a non surgical approach to spinal disease, lameness and paralysis. It is a fast, effective and objective technology. It integrates an accurate diagnostic method in all animals. Training takes place through an intensive course structure from a highly qualified Veterinarian.

We challenge the spine with a small impact tool. Sometimes its obvious what spinal level is dysfunctional or subluxated and other times the instument tells us there is a problem . General tune up points (ting points) are also integrated into a treatment.

What can it treat?

1. Different degrees of laimeness 0 through 4 out of 5,  AAEP Standards

2. Hip Dysplasaia

3. Disc Disease

4. Wobblers

5. Extremity issues

6. Somato-visceral imbalances, Respitory,GI and dermal issues.

7. Agility or Performance dysfunction

VMR: Veterinary Myofascial Release Therapy integrates hand massage or an  arthrostim device that release muscle tightness and rehabilitates the adjunctive muscle covering known as the fascia. VOM re-sets the muscle and spinal segment while VMR creates balance and proper tone to the corresponding attached muscles.

Cold Laser and Acupuncture information to be posted soon

Dr. Amli also spends the majority of his Sat mornings at several Ranches in Colorado working in equine therapy through a certified instructor; Christin Mowery.  Equine therapy is a treatment for people and children with physical and mental diabilities that match a gentle horse with a patient.

*As a professional courtesy Dr. Amli will always contact your veterinarian doctor to gain his approval for treatment.  Even though there has never been an injury to any animal receiving Dr. Inmans technology, we require a release form be signed by any pet owner or proper representative.
